An Intervention performance, breaking into two churches on good Friday and Easter Sunday respectively while confronting the church with their own texts, teachings, fear, contradictions, prejudices, condemnations and hypocrisy.

You Hypocrites!

Ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so, ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity Matthew 23. For I am hungry, and ye give me no meat: I am thirsty, and ye give me no drink: I am a stranger, and ye take me not in: naked, and ye clothe me not: sick and in prison, and ye visit me not. Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye do it not to one of the least of these, ye do it not to me. Matthew 25:42

You betray me in the name of the father while your evils and shames are the pride of darkness. You spit on me for I am wretched, dirty, poor and stinking.  Have you not been warned: love your neighbour as yourselves? Have you also not been taught to love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you?  Matthew 5: 38-48 Matthew 7:1-6; Romans 14:1-12 Nevertheless, you kick me out of your doors for I [be] Trans, androgynous, [the kwadwo-besia] from your own [womb]. You call upon the mob, shouting: “Gay! Gay! Gay! Kill him! Kill her! Kill it! Now! what was the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah?  Gen. 9:1-13.  They were very wicked, evil, murderers, rapist, violent and do not respect the right of others but the same judgement shall apply to you all. Is there no robber among you? Is there no rapist among you? Are there no selfish and greedy ones among you? Are there no adulterous men and women among you? Is there any of you without sin? He that is with none, let him pull the trigger. John 8:1-11.  Does a woman commit adultery with herself? You enact all kinds of evils in the name of the father claiming the life of the innocent and the weak. Until when have any of you been appointed judges? Luke 6:37 Why do you persecute the Me?  Has your [God] been deaf and dead and could he no longer fight for himself or save his own righteousness?

“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.” Ezekiel 16:49 KJ. You hypocrites, full of prejudice and condemnation…
