Trans Africa Ambassadors Network-TAAN

Every Black trans person is a manifestation of true resistance. Note that our existence in itself is an endless radical self-compassion and a genuine love towards ourselves and an offering to universe

WHO ARE WE?

Trans African Ambassadors Network (TAAN) is a NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS as a revolutionary response to transphobia, the colonial erasure of black trans history, the persecution, and the violence trans persons face across the African continent in recent time.

Founded in 2023 TAAN aims at radicalising trans visibility and powerful self-told stories as a political tool and  resistance across the continent while highlighting the diverse indigenous spiritualities and cultural embodiment of trans people in various traditions, tribes, and ethnic groups prior to colonialism and the invasion of western missionary activisms.
